With modern industry and transportation advancing rapidly, atmospheric pollution has intensified, making effective gas monitoring key to managing air quality and ensuring safety.

Traditional gas monitoring methods often involve high safety risks, limited flexibility, incomplete coverage, and a lack of ability to trace gas dispersion effectively.

Ziyan UAS, in partnership with Soarability Technologies, presents the Ranger P2X unmanned helicopter as a solution to these challenges. Equipped with an advanced gas detection and mapping system and intelligent visualization software, the Ranger P2X provides real-time, precise spatial data on gas distribution.

The Ranger P2X can detect up to nine key pollutants in a single mission, allowing for comprehensive data collection on pollutant concentrations and the generation of detailed mission reports.

The unmanned helicopter supports various applications, including maritime emissions monitoring, emergency response, and oil and gas pipeline inspections, improving operational efficiency while reducing safety risks and costs.

Ranger PX2 Applications

Maritime Emissions Monitoring

As the shipping industry grows, pollution from ship emissions has become a significant issue. Traditional methods of maritime emissions monitoring include manual onboard inspections and sulfur content tests using rapid detection devices. Although effective, these methods can be time-consuming, complex, and resource-intensive.

The Ranger P2X addresses these challenges with its fast response, strong wind resistance, precise hovering, and extensive range. It is equipped with a Tri-Sensor Camera and Gas Detection & Mapping System, which uses visible light and infrared cameras to identify emissions sources and their dispersion paths, helping to determine optimal sampling points.

The system can quickly measure sulfur and other gases from passing vessels, with data transmitted in real-time to shore-based command centers. Intelligent software then generates detailed detection reports, providing robust support for maritime supervision and enhancing regulatory efficiency.

Toxic Gas Detection in Emergencies

In chemical parks, where numerous factories operate, rapid detection of toxic gas leaks is crucial for protecting lives and the environment. Traditional handheld detectors pose safety risks, especially in hazardous environments, and fixed monitoring stations are limited by their location, lacking flexibility and quick response capabilities.

The Ranger P2X can be deployed within three minutes of an emergency alert. Equipped with a gas detection and mapping system, it quickly flies to the affected area at a speed of 100km/h, using its tri-sensor camera to assess the scene and assist in risk evaluation.

For enhanced safety, the gas detector features high-brightness warning lights on the front and sides that change color based on real-time gas concentration levels, allowing field personnel to stay informed even without direct visual access and helping to prevent secondary incidents.

Oil and Gas Pipeline Inspection

Oil and gas pipelines, often buried underground, face risks such as internal and external corrosion, natural disasters, and third-party damage, which can lead to leaks and potentially explosive situations. Timely pipeline inspection is essential for early leak detection.

The Ranger P2X, equipped with a gas detection sensor, continuously monitors the air around pipeline surfaces, providing maintenance teams with dynamic, visualized data to quickly identify potential leaks. It incorporates a 120-minute endurance and can carry a high-performance tri-sensor camera for extended inspections.

Paired with AI-based recognition and analysis technology, it can promptly detect threats such as third-party interference, pipeline exposure, structural encroachments, vehicles, and fires.

Ziyan’s Ranger P2X is designed for diverse and challenging environments, offering robust adaptability and multifunctionality that enhances safety and contributes to environmental and industrial quality.
