Southwest Antennas has launched a new rugged omni-directional antenna for S and C-Band communication applications. The lightweight and compact antenna is ideal for space-constrained applications such as UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and UGVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), and covers both licensed bands used by federal law enforcement and NATO/military users, as well as ISM and unlicensed bands.
The new antenna offers frequency band coverage for both 2.1 – 2.5 GHz and 4.4 – 5.9 GHz, with a peak gain of 2.6 dBi. With a black chrome rotating TNC(m) RF connector and matte black finish, it is ideal for tactical or low visibility applications.
