Sustainable Agriculture with MicroStrain & Nexus Robotics

Early on, Nexus Robotics’ CTO Jad Tawil learned that pulling weeds for hours on end is hard, straining work. With the founding and development of Nexus Robotics, he and his team set out to engineer a better solution.   

Nexus Robotics envisions a safer, more sustainable, and more efficient method of pulling weeds without damaging crops. Their autonomous weeding vehicle precisely navigates through rows of crops, carefully selecting and picking weeds growing between vegetables.  

“We will see robotic solutions being used on farms far more frequently going forward and we hope to be one of the pioneers in that field.”
