Ryan Le, Gremsy USA CEO
What does this significant step represent for the company and for your customers in the American market?
This is a milestone moment for our company. By establishing Gremsy USA in Southern California, we are making a long-term commitment to the U.S. market. We’re investing in people, facilities, and processes here in the U.S., this isn’t just about expansion, but about building stronger relationships and trust.
For our customers, it means having a partner right in their backyard. They will benefit from local technical support, faster repairs, reduced shipping times, and better product availability.
Can you share Gremsy USA’s strategic vision and the key message you want to convey at the Commercial UAV Expo this year? How is this reflected in the products you’ve brought?
Our vision is clear: to be the trusted U.S. provider of advanced payload solutions that meet compliance while driving innovation forward. The key message at this year’s Expo is that Gremsy is here to support the U.S. UAV community with technology that combines performance, reliability, and security.
This is showcased through our NDAA-compliant lineup, led by the flagship VIO F1 with its triple-camera system, ultra-stable gimbal, and advanced isotherm imaging for mission-critical operations. Alongside VIO F1, we are debuting LYNX, a lightweight 200g EO/IR payload for small drones, and ORUS L, a 1400g EO/IR payload for heavy-lift UAVs. Together, these offerings highlight both innovation and security, reflecting our deep understanding of U.S. customer needs.

How will having a local team change the way that you interact with customers and partners?
Our vision and key message are about being a trusted partner for the U.S. UAV community, delivering solutions that combine performance, reliability, and compliance. Having a local team allows us to put this message into action – by providing hands-on integration support, faster service, and closer collaboration with operators and system builders. This presence ensures that our payloads remain not only compliant but also directly aligned with the evolving needs of U.S. customers.
Lucy Phan, Gremsy’s Head of Sales
Gremsy is focusing on connection over showcasing products this year. Can you elaborate on the strategy behind this shift and what you hope to learn from the community here?
Innovation starts with truly listening. At this year’s Expo, our priority is to connect with customers, understand their real-world challenges, and hear about their business priorities. By putting people first, we ensure our solutions and products meet their needs for both performance and compliance. This direct connection provides valuable feedback and real-world insights.
How does this customer-focused approach help you identify and address the specific pain points of partners and users in the USA?
The U.S. drone market is incredibly diverse, covering sectors such as surveying, inspection, first response, law enforcement, wildlife management, and search and rescue. Each has its own unique challenges.By engaging directly with operators, we capture practical feedback and translate it into actionable engineering. This process ensures that our solutions – such as the flagship VIO F1 with its triple-camera system, ultra-stable gimbal, and advanced isotherm imaging, along with the newly introduced LYNX for lightweight platforms and ORUS L for heavy-lift UAVs, are fully aligned with the mission-critical needs of U.S. users.
After the expo, what’s next? How will Gremsy continue to build on these connections and provide the technical support needed to foster long-term partnerships?
This Expo is just the beginning of our journey in the U.S. market. With our local team, Gremsy USA can provide faster support, seamless integration, and closer collaboration with partners. Beyond the event, we will continue turning customer feedback into tailored solutions and product improvements. A clear example is the VIO BLUE UAS lineup, a fully NDAA-compliant series that extends the innovation of VIO F1 while ensuring security and operational readiness for the U.S. market. Ultimately, our goal is not just to sell products, but to deliver solutions that empower customers to advance further within the industry.
