Teledyne Imaging Lt Series digital USB3 camerasTeledyne Imaging has expanded its Lt Series of digital USB3 cameras with the addition of new 20-megapixel colour and monochrome models. Based around the Sony IMX183 20 MP CMOS rolling shutter sensor, the new cameras are designed for low‐light and changing light conditions and are ideal for a wide range of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and robotics applications such as aerial imaging and inspection.

As with all Lt Series cameras, the new models feature a robust, compact enclosure and fully locking USB3 connectors, and are built for rugged 24/7 use. They deliver advanced vision performance while minimising SWaP (size, weight and power) footprints.

The Lt Series cameras offer proven 32 and 64‐bit operating system compatibility for Windows, Linux, Linux for embedded systems, and single board computers (SBCs). They are designed to deliver high dynamic range and high speed performance with low read noise.

Other features of the new Lt Series models include:

  • Resolution of 20 MP (5472 x 3648 pixels)
  • High sensitivity pixel size of 2.4 μm with back illuminated sensors
  • Compact form factor simplifying integration in modern OEM solutions
  • Side mounted locking industrial micro USB for power and control
