Embention has officially launched its fully operational U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles to provide localized U.S. engineering, production, and support for the North American aerospace sector.
Incorporated in 2025 as Embention USA INC, the strategic hub serves as a multi-disciplinary branch designed to reinforce the company’s commitment to the United States market. The facility offers high-performance avionics solutions tailored to the demanding requirements of local Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) manufacturers.
The Los Angeles facility represents a fundamental shift in the company’s ability to serve the American aerospace market. By bringing production, distribution, support, and R&D in-house, the company is significantly reducing lead times for hardware delivery and streamlining technical support workflows. This proximity enables a more agile response to the needs of American partners and facilitates the seamless integration of flight control systems into complex platforms while minimizing logistical hurdles associated with international shipping and customs.
The presence of a dedicated hub in U.S. territory allows for a deeper synergy with local innovators.
David Benavente, CEO of Embention, “Establishing a production, support & R&D center in Los Ángeles is a game-changer for our competitive positioning. It allows us to deliver our high-reliability technology with unprecedented speed and efficiency. We are bringing a unique combination of advanced technology and local agility to the American market, ensuring that our partners have the avionics systems they need to lead the future of unmanned aviation.“
This expansion is driven by extensive expertise in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for mission-critical aerospace programs. The new production center has been conceived to fully comply with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) standards. This ensures that components and systems are manufactured within the United States in accordance with federal security, sourcing, and traceability regulations. Such alignment allows government agencies, defense contractors, and commercial operators to utilize a secure, transparent supply chain.
Beyond logistics, the hub serves as a bridge between engineering and American innovation. By maintaining a physical presence in Los Angeles, the company can better understand the unique operational challenges of the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS). This expansion shortens the distance between the provider and the end-user while aligning the company’s development roadmap with evolving certification standards.
