Acecore has introduced the Zoe M4, a variant of the company’s portable and foldable quadcopter platform that has been specifically designed to provide a rapidly-deployable overwatch capability for military personnel and units.
Easy to transport and set up, it is ideal for security, ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and emergency response applications.
The Zoe M4 is equipped with the NextVision Raptor X80, a military-grade EO/IR gimbal that provides stabilized daytime and night-time imagery with 80x zoom and a thermal imaging resolution of 1280×720. The NDAA-compliant quadcopter features the same rugged capabilities as the base Acecore Zoe model, including a robust carbon fiber construction, all-weather waterproof design, and the ability to survive winds of up to 29 knots.
The Zoe M4 is paired with Acecore’s Signav Ultra ground control station (GCS), a lightweight handheld device based upon the Panasonic FZ-M1 tablet and rated to MIL-STD-810G. The radio-agnostic controller can be equipped with a range of hardware options including the Persistent Systems MPU5, Silvus Streamcaster, and Doodle Labs Smart Radio. It can be factory-configured for compatibility with existing military networks or for frequency bands between 1625 to 2510 MHz.
