BVLOS flights in Canada

SAIT’s CIRUS lab (Centre for Innovation & Research in Unmanned Systems) has been granted the first BVLOS permit by Transport Canada.

SwissDrones have congratulated all involved parties for the great work in bringing long-range, autonomous use cases to the Canadian markets

SAIT in collaboration with EarthScan and SwissDrones has also integrated a Ground Penetrating Rad (GPR) with the SDO 50 V2. Test flights have started and have shown to be very promising in terms of rapid and precise data collection and analysis for hydrological and archaeological projects, detecting underground utilities, and abandoned mines.
