SubC Imaging provides a variety of modular, scalable and platform-agnostic solutions that enable low-latency video, audio, and data transmission for AUVs, ROVs and USVs undertaking a range of challenging remote missions such as inspection, surveys, maintenance, surveillance, and repair.
With a cutting-edge combination of cloud-based software and rugged hardware, these remote solutions enable enhanced decision-making and allow you to reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact of your operations while improving safety and efficiency.
The service is compatible with a wide range of underwater cameras and DVRs, and allows real-time synchronisation with other offshore sensors such as CTDs, depth sensors, and GPS receivers. It is available in four different tiers to suit a range of requirements.
Video footage can be overlaid with a range of additional information, including data and time, serial and Ethernet-connected sensor data, and logos or other graphics.
The system continuously records all incoming sensor and telemetry data on up to six channels, supporting SD, HD, 4K, screen capture, IP cameras, or SubC’s Real-Time Streaming transmissions. It is available as a software-only license, or with optional hardware upon request.
SubC Imaging’s rugged subsea cameras provide low-latency 4K and HD video and imaging capabilities for underwater inspection and survey applications. Designed to withstand the harshest of marine environments, they provide highly detailed videos and still imagery for use in remote monitoring, 3D modelling, photogrammetry, stereo imaging and more.
Featuring a 12.3 MP sensor with the equivalent of 5x optical zoom, the system uses built-in image correction to ensure high sharpness and low distortion, delivering superior imaging capabilities even under low light conditions. It can be provided as a standalone camera unit, or with optional LEDs and lasers for enhanced lighting and visual reference.
Rayfin BPC – provides power for camera, two LEDs, lasers and other sensors, as well as transmission of live HD and video, over two wires
Rayfin ETP – utilizes Ethernet over twisted pair technology to upgrade ROVs with live water-corrected HD IP video and data
