We’ve just launched SEAMOR Marine’s UST supplier profile, which has been written and built by our team in collaboration with the company. The Gold profile showcases their industry-proven ROVs, which are based around a modular open-frame design and are in operation on every continent and in every major body of water on the planet.

Read on to find out more:

SEAMOR ROV platforms are capable of operating at depths of down to 300 meters (1000 ft), and can be provided with a range of standard twisted-pair or fiber optic tether lengths. Vehicles that can withstand depths of down to 600 meters (2000 ft) can be provided upon request.

inspection-class ROVThe Chinook is an industrial-grade inspection-class ROV with a compact profile that allows it to operate in highly confined spaces. Featuring a forward-facing high-resolution video camera for capturing broadcast-quality footage, as well as an auxiliary camera, the functionality of the versatile robotic vehicle can be extended even further with the addition of optional manipulators, tool skids, extra thrusters, sonars, USBL systems and more.

The platform’s design includes multiple handles and frame cross members that allow it to be carried and deployed by two people with ease. The Chinook package includes an intuitive and ergonomic controller with a built-in LCD screen.

portable ROVThe Steelhead is SEAMOR’s most compact and portable ROV, and can be easily deployed and recovered from small vessels and docks without hoists or cranes. The inspection-class vehicle comes equipped with a standard definition NTSC or PAL camera that has been optimized for low light conditions.

The Steelhead is ideal for inspection of confined spaces, and can be equipped with a range of additional options including grippers, lighting, sonars, USBLs and lasers.

rugged ROVThe Mako is SEAMOR’s largest and most powerful ROV, featuring eight highly efficient thrusters – four vertical thrusters for stability and four horizontal to maximize forward thrust. Able to carry 14kg of payload as standard and upgradeable to 22.5 kg, the Mako can be equipped with a wide variety of payloads for true multi-mission flexibility, and can deliver enough power to run them all at once.

The rugged ROV features a 1080p HD zoom camera for high-quality footage. Additional accessories can be mounted on the frame or in the specially designed payload bay, including multibeam sonars, CT and UT probes, hydraulic manipulator arms, and more.
