The Chinook is an industrial-grade inspection-class ROV with a compact profile that allows it to operate easily in confined spaces and to be conveniently stowed when not in use. With multiple handles and frame cross members it can be carried and deployed by two people with little effort.
The versatile robotic vehicle features a forward-facing high-resolution video camera for capturing broadcast-quality inspection footage as well as an auxiliary camera. The platform's functionality can be extended even further with the addition of optional manipulators, tool skids, extra thrusters, sonars, USBL systems and more. The Chinook package also includes an intuitive and ergonomic controller with a built-in LCD screen.
The SEAMOR Chinook ROV is capable of operating at depths of down to 300m (1000 ft) as standard, or 600 m (2,000 ft) with the deep-sea version.
