The USVSTAR by AGISTAR, a developer of robotic vehicle solutions for water management and aquatic applications, is a robust and lightweight Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), supporting complex water-based missions with minimal setup and maximum reliability.

AGISTAR’s USV is portable and supports scientific work across any aquatic environment, including open ocean, coastal, and shallow marine zones.

Its chassis can be separated for easy transport, while inflatable PVC floats help minimize bulk during field operations. The modular frame enables teams to swap toolsets between surveys, supporting tasks such as water collection, underwater inspections, and general environmental measurements.

The USVSTAR can be rapidly assembled, with on-site setup taking just two minutes for immediate use. Field crews can also bring the system from stowed to ready in about three minutes, making it well suited for fast operations in remote marine locations.

This platform is fully customizable for each mission and can support any devices or sensors required by the task. Researchers can integrate a wide assortment of instruments, such as water-quality analyzers, GNSS receivers, echosounders, subsea camera units, and optional robotic accessories.

Multiple propulsion settings also extend runtime, and the metal deck structure expands to accommodate mission-specific gear. The platform accommodates a 5-liter sampling bottle, offers protected spaces for electronics, and can carry up to 35 kilograms of equipment despite its sub-meter length and roughly 15-kilogram operating mass.

This flexibility, durability, and efficiency make USVSTAR an effective solution for research institutions, environmental agencies, and industrial inspections, with its adjustable speed supporting applications such as bathymetry, environmental research, inspection, and monitoring.
