The Mission Specialist Wraith from VideoRay is a compact, high-performance remotely operated vehicle (ROV) engineered for demanding underwater operations. Designed as the flagship of the Mission Specialist series, it delivers unmatched maneuverability and precise control with true six degrees of freedom. Ten oil-filled brushless thrusters enable the vehicle to hold or transit in any orientation—including inverted or vertical—while maintaining stable positioning in high-current conditions. Its powerful propulsion provides 80 pounds of forward thrust, allowing direct, attitude-independent movement for rapid task execution and efficient subsea intervention.

Built on a modular, networked architecture, the Wraith integrates interchangeable components that simplify reconfiguration for specific mission requirements. Its 4K smart camera, advanced IMU, and high-intensity LED arrays ensure clear visual and navigational data even in low-visibility environments. With a 1,000-meter depth rating, rugged composite housing, and expeditionary support system including a ruggedized controller and 1.5-kilometer fiber-optic tether, the Wraith provides a flexible solution for inspection, survey, and intervention tasks across offshore, infrastructure, and research applications.
