The SL20 is a compact and portable USV designed for hydrographic and bathymetric surveys. Constructed from carbon fiber, the vessel measures just over 1 meter in length and weighs 17 kg, allowing it to be easily operated and transported by a single person. A dedicated 177 mm-wide moon pool supports flexible deployment of instruments such as ADCPs and echo sounders, including the Revier Survey of M9 ADCP and RiverRay ADCP. The SL20 features a powerful battery and low power consumption, providing up to 6 hours of endurance while sailing at 3 knots, and its extremely low draft of 15 cm enables operation in shallow waters such as offshore coasts, shoals, and reefs where traditional manned vessels cannot operate.
The SL20 supports both remote control and auto-pilot modes, delivering strong line-tracking performance and autonomous survey capability. A base station can be easily deployed in the field, enabling real-time data telemetry during operations. Waterjet propulsion provides a maximum speed of up to 8 knots, while integrated safety protection prevents the propeller from becoming entangled with water plants or debris.
