Lightweight visible & thermal imaging payload with laser rangefinder

The Gremsy Vio is a visible and thermal imaging payload weighing just 854 grams and providing plug-and-play compatibility via MAVLink with a wide range of drone platforms. The versatile payload is designed for industrial inspection, search and rescue, disaster relief, firefighting, and more.

The unit features a 4K 8.51 MP camera with up to 240x zoom for capturing intricate details at increased distances, as well as a 640×512 radiometric thermal camera with excellent sensitivity of <=50 mK for precise temperature measurement. The integrated laser rangefinder delivers exact positioning at ranges of up to 2400 metres.

Vio integrates a suite of powerful AI-enhanced capabilities, including identification of objects such as cars and humans. The Auto-Zoom feature allows the system to automatically zoom in on specific objects to maintain the optimal view, adjusting the zoom level as the object moves.

Users can interact with Vio using Gremsy’s Payload Assistant app, which provides highly intuitive user operation and access to functions such as zooming in, selecting tracked objects by touching the remote screen, altering gimbal modes, taking images, viewing videos, and more. Users can also switch between EO, IR, EO/IR, and IR/EO viewing modes.

Vio series is available in two variants with different thermal cores, providing temperature range and lens options to suit a range of requirements.
