TAC-450-360 Photonic IMU (Non-ITAR)

The TAC-450-360 is one of EMCORE's premier tactical-grade IMUs, featuring proprietary photonic integrated chip (PIC) technology that replaces individual fiber optic components with a single precision-manufactured chip. Designed for the most demanding pointing, stabilization and navigation applications, the robust IMU delivers low Angle Random Walk (ARW) and bias instability, high scale factor accuracy, very high bandwidth, and low latency.

The low-SWaP unit is designed to withstand high levels of acceleration, vibration, and shock, and is ideal for UAVs, autonomous ground robots, gimbal stabilization and a range of other dynamic unmanned systems applications.

The TAC-450-360 is easily integrated into higher-level inertial systems, and features adjustable baud rates and user-configurable output messages. It functions as a drop-in replacement for a range of commercially available IMUs, and is available with a choice of 10g, 16g, 30g, and 100g high-grade MEMS accelerometers.
