2. Rotron Aero to Be Acquired by Ondas to Advance Long-Range Unmanned Systems & Propulsion

Rotron Aero has entered into a strategic agreement to be acquired by Ondas Inc. to facilitate the next phase of the company’s growth as a global provider of long-range autonomous defence systems.
The transaction marks a major milestone for the UK-based firm, which specializes in the intersection of propulsion, autonomy, and platform design. Upon completion of the deal, Rotron will integrate into Ondas Autonomous Systems. This move combines Rotron’s long-range Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and proprietary propulsion technologies with a broader system-of-systems architecture designed for contested operational environments.
3. Red Cat Secures Black Widow™ sUAS Orders From Asia-Pacific Ally

The Black Widow™ small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) by Red Cat Holdings has been selected by an undisclosed Asia-Pacific ally for military use following a competitive tender.
This agreement, finalized in December 2025, marks the second ally in the Asia-Pacific region to recently order the Black Widow platform. Red Cat is scheduled to deliver an undisclosed number of systems throughout the 2026 calendar year. Each individual system provided under the contract includes two Black Widow aircraft, a Ground Control Station (GCS), and other mission-critical components.
4. Airbus Collaboration Demonstrates Crewed-Uncrewed Teaming in Flight Campaign

Airbus and Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) have concluded an initial flight campaign demonstrating advanced crewed-uncrewed teaming capabilities using the HTeaming system.
The trials, conducted in January at a Singapore airbase, paired a Republic of Singapore Air Force H225M helicopter with an Airbus Flexrotor Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS). This collaboration follows an agreement signed in June 2025 to explore how such crewed-uncrewed teaming can improve mission outcomes and situational awareness.
5. Alpha Unmanned Systems & Parallel Flight Partner to Develop Heavy-Fuel UAVs for U.S. Navy

Parallel Flight Technologies and Alpha Unmanned Systems have launched a joint initiative to advance heavy-fuel propulsion technologies for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in support of the U.S. Office of Naval Research (ONR).
The collaboration focuses on adapting Parallel Flight’s Firefly UAS, a Group 3 unmanned aircraft, to operate on heavy fuel. This transition is designed to enable long-endurance, heavy-lift operations within naval and expeditionary environments, ensuring the technology aligns with existing military logistics and fuel infrastructures.
