Velodyne Lidar has introduced a new partner program for the company’s integrator ecosystem in order to commercialize next-generation autonomous solutions that use its lidar technology, such as autonomous driving systems, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles) and other robotic platforms. Velodyne will help companies via the platform by supporting innovation, promoting applications and creating lasting customer and business relationships.
The Automated with Velodyne program reflects Velodyne’s focus on accelerating market adoption of 3D lidar innovations. In addition to its portfolio of versatile lidar solutions, Velodyne also provides technical, sales and distribution channel service and support. The program includes joint marketing activities to promote partner brands and customer success at trade shows, social and owned media channels, and more.
To date, almost 40 companies have signed up to the Automated with Velodyne program. They have used Velodyne lidar technologies to build solutions in application areas that include advanced driver assistance (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, mapping, and security.
