  • RTK-PPK in Photogrammetry

Real-time kinematic (RTK) and/or post processed kinematic (PPK) enabled drones are far superior to drones with just on-board GPS, right? A simple yes is a misconception as the real answer is more complicated. David Alamillo, Photogrammetry Specialist at SimActive, will join Eric Andelin, Senior Workflow Specialist, to provide some insight into processing RTK/PPK data, as well as traditional photogrammetric alternatives.

Specifically, attendees will learn about the following:

    • Differences between RTK & PPK
    • Factors impacting accuracy
    • Processing options in Correlator3D
    • When to use RTK/PPK
    • Troubleshooting results
