  • Underwater ROVs are manned and connected to the surface with a cable, but it’s still hard to locate where the ROV is when you’re diving out of sight.

To help maneuver, navigate and determine the ROV’s position underwater, Blueye have now integrated the WaterLinked DVL A50 with the Blueye X3!

In this digital event, Blueye will present the new features this solution offers, such as station keeping, auto altitude, and post-processing of the acquired positioning data. You’ll learn more about what a DVL is, how it works, and why it’s an essential sensor for underwater robotics. Blueye will also mention the new integration of the Ping Sonar Altimeter and Echosounder from Blue Robotics.

Tune in to this digital event on June 2nd to learn about the DVL solution and some of its use cases. Oliver Skisland from Water Linked and Martin Ludvigsen and Alexandre Cardaillac from NTNU will be joining as guests-speakers.
