This video from HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions, a developer of 3D printing technologies supporting the drone industry, features Blueflite, showcasing its last mile delivery drones at Xponential 2025.
Blueflite utilizes 3D printing when manufacturing its aircraft, leveraging HP’s Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology for all its structural components. As a pure OEM selling to many different customers, the HP MJF process enables adaptability, producing different antenna combinations or cameras for example to meet customer requirements.
Blueflite also uses carbon fiber for all its cargo delivery drones because it is versatile, strong and accurate, with HP MJF’s 3D printed parts working well in collaboration with this structural material.
HP speaks to Blueflite’s CTO and co-founder, James McClearen, about advantages of using HP’s MJF process.
