Sense Aeronautics’ AI-powered Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) solution automatically detects and classifies targets of interest in EO and IR video streams, delivering results that are faster, more cost-effective and more consistent than human operators. The system is highly scalable and can handle any number of video streams, making it ideal for drone fleet and swarm applications.

By integrating seamlessly into the mission workflow and accurately identifying relevant information, the system reduces storage and bandwidth requirements. Data concerning threats and events of interest can be output to external systems such as video management software, ground control stations and infrastructure monitoring systems.

The latest ATR solution enables the retrieval of telemetry data from drones enhancing AI performance and enabling the provision of geolocation data for detected targets, making it possible to display targets on a map. ATR is available for deployment on the edge, as well as on local, public, and private Cloud-based environments.

Mission Insight Reports

ATR also supports detailed mission insight reports, providing a structured way to review and enhance detection activity across an entire mission or a selected timeframe. Designed for both in-mission and offline use, these interactive reports allow operators to assess detections without continuously monitoring live video feeds. Reports can be downloaded as PDF files, supporting documentation, debriefing, and intelligence sharing requirements.

Each report presents the first and last appearance of every detected target, together with geo-positioning data for each tracked object. The system automatically selects and displays the best crop of each target, ensuring clear visual confirmation.

Extra Target Information
Additional contextual data can be added to enrich detections, including attributes such as vehicle color and model. The solution also supports license plate extraction, including partial matches, and enables condition-based alerts such as identifying a specific vehicle type or color associated with a known plate. Alerts can be filtered and customized according to user-defined criteria, delivering precise, actionable notifications in real time or during post-mission analysis.
