Noxant is a leading developer of infrared (IR) optronics solutions for drones and robotics. Covering all IR bands, our high-performance cameras and camera cores are the result of decades of experience in infrared imaging technology, and we strive to ensure that we are always at the forefront of the industry, providing solutions to even the most complex of our customers’ problems.
All our products are designed, manufactured and serviced within Europe, and we provide industry-leading integration and after-sales support to all our clients.
Our Technology
Our IR cameras and cores are designed with ease of use foremost in mind, and can be integrated into a wide range of unmanned systems and robotics platforms. We make use of open standards to ensure flexible and versatile installation, and no external software is required.
Our portfolio of LWIR, MWIR and SWIR imaging products can be customized to suit your specific applications, and we continually improve and update our solutions to ensure that you can stay at the cutting edge.
Our technology is not only used as a payload, but also as a development tool for engineering. Thanks to our capabilities to accurately measure apparent temperature, NoxCam cameras provide valuable information for product design and optimisation, and also for signature assessment.
IR Imaging for Long-Range Surveillance
Our infrared imaging solutions are ideal for long-distance surveillance applications on land, in the air and at sea. The low-SWaP (size, weight and power) systems can be integrated into UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles) and USVs (uncrewed surface vessels), providing enhanced situational awareness at all hour of the day and under all weather conditions.
IR Cameras and Cores for Monitoring & Surveying
Noxant infrared cameras and cores are also highly suited to a wide range of commercial, industrial and scientific applications. Our high-performance products deliver accurate thermographic and radiometric data for remote sensing, optical gas imaging (OGI), powerline and infrastructure inspection, and more.
NoxCore

High-performance radiometric cameras for harsh environments
Our NoxCam HSi radiometric infrared cameras have been specially designed to withstand the harsh conditions faced by UAVs and unmanned systems, featuring rugged enclosures and cutting-edge thermal detection technology. With robust radiometric calibration and built-in temperature compensation, they are ideal for meeting high-speed thermography requirements, and can be customized for temperature measurement ranges from sub-zero up to 3000°C.
The NoxCam portfolio also includes a polarimetric model that incorporates a cooled LWIR sensor and delivers pixel-level polarimetric information in four directions coupled with sharp infrared imagery. The first-of-its-kind NoxCam-Pola camera is highly suited to applications such as oil spill detection and NDT (non-destructive testing).
All NoxCam products feature on-board raw calibrated data recording, industry-standard interfaces such as GigEVision and Genicam, and compatibility with leading analysis software including Matlab and ImageJ.
Optical gas imaging camera cores for system integrators
Our GasCore OGI camera cores are compact, lightweight and provide unparalleled gas detection performance. The radiometrically calibrated units can be easily integrated into drone and robotics platforms, and can be controlled via serial RS-232 or Ethernet.
The MWIR and LWIR camera cores deliver 720p HDMI colour output, with options for SDI and analog, and are available with a wide range of gas detection options.
