The FT II is a long-wave infrared camera module based around a 12 μm ceramic-package detector and compatible with a range of different lenses, including fixed focus and continuous zooming. Thanks to next-generation imaging algorithms, it provides excellent image quality for detection of smaller targets even under highly challenging conditions.
The module supports black-hot/white-hot and 18-colour palettes, and temperature measurement can be integrated with high-temperature warnings and fire alarm functions, with response times of 0.2 seconds or less.
The FT II provides a range of different external video interfaces, including BT.656, BT.1120, LVDS, LVCOMS, USB, Cameralink, HDMI, and analog. It is available in four different image resolutions to suit a variety of thermal imaging requirements.
