Beluga is an all-electric quadcopter platform with a modular construction that allows it to be equipped for a wide range of logistics and sensor-based use cases. Featuring a bio-inspired design, the aircraft has been engineered for enhanced aerodynamic performance and ultra-low-noise operation.
The versatile quadcopter UAV can be fitted with a cargo bay, or with a variety of sensors and payloads including EO/IR gimbals, LiDAR scanners, and multispectral and hyperspectral sensors. Built-in- AI capabilities enable enhanced obstacle and collision avoidance capabilities as well as a suite of image recognition and computer vision features.
Beluga is designed to survive the harsh environmental conditions faced during military and emergency response missions. The rugged quadcopter has been tested at altitudes of up to 6000 metres above sea level at at temperatures from -25 to +50 degrees C, and features IP67 ingress protection.
