The Cube Orange+ is an advanced open-source autopilot for autonomous drones and unmanned vehicles, based around 400MHz Cortex M7 and 200 MHz Cortex M4 CPUs. Incorporating triple-redundant temperature-stabilized IMUs for the utmost in reliability, the flight controller is fully compatible with ArduPilot and PX4.
The system includes an ADS-B carrier board with a customized uAvionix 1090 MHz receiver, enabling UAVs to receive the attitude and location data of commercial manned aircraft for enhanced situational awareness and collision avoidance.
The Cube Orange+ autopilot can be easily connected to third-party carrier boards, allowing it to support custom unmanned vehicle applications for a wide range of platforms, including fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs, UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles), USVs (unmanned surface vessels) and UUVs (unmanned underwater vehicles). PWM output can be easily switched between 3.3V and 5V signal levels, allowing a larger margin on signalling for certain challenging configurations with external UAV peripherals.
