The MP1 Multi-RF Receiver Card from Aerobits is an mPCI-based receiver module designed to bring aviation surveillance and airspace awareness capabilities into unmanned systems and ground-based monitoring installations. Available across Aerobits system variants, the module combines a highly sensitive ADS-B/GNSS receiver architecture with optional UAT or FLARM functionality, enabling reception and decoding of ADS-B, Mode A, Mode C, and Mode S transmissions. The platform supports rapid deployment through low-cost mPCI-to-USB and mPCI-to-PCI conversion options, while direct installation in a computer PCI slot enables streamlined access to aviation traffic data.
Built on Aerobits OEM technology, the MP1 incorporates a high-sensitivity RF front end, RF signal quality and power analysis capabilities, timestamp support for multilateration implementations, and a fast UART interface with AT-command configuration. Additional interfaces allow firmware customization and support for application-specific functions. The module is suited to permanent airspace monitoring installations, VLOS and BVLOS operations, and Detect-and-Avoid implementations using FLARM-based traffic awareness. A dedicated UAT variant is also available for general aviation environments, providing access to the 978 MHz ADS-B ecosystem used by lower-altitude aircraft in U.S. airspace and supporting safe UAS integration into shared airspace environments.
