UAVOS and VEDA Aeronautics (P) Ltd. have finalized a strategic agreement to collaborate on the manufacturing of composite structures for unmanned aircraft within India.
Supported by UAVOS’s engineering service capabilities, the agreement outlines a transfer of technology and technical assistance to VEDA Aeronautics. This cooperation aims to facilitate the production and assembly of aerostructures for unmanned systems, enhancing India’s infrastructure for current programs. The move is designed to align with the Indian Government’s “Make in India” initiative, which seeks to foster local manufacturing and innovation.
UAVOS will utilize its expertise in low to high-temperature composite processing to assist VEDA. This includes key production technologies such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), autoclave processing, and hand layup techniques.
As part of the engineering services provided, experience will be shared regarding the production of composite structural components and assemblies, ranging from fuselage and wing parts to skin panels and moveable surfaces.
Dipesh Gupta, Managing Director of VEDA Aeronautics, said, “We are excited to partner with UAVOS, a company with extensive technical expertise in unmanned aircraft and composite part production. This partnership will strengthen our capabilities and reinforce our position as a leading unmanned systems company in India. It supports the ‘Make in India’ policy, contributing to India’s drive for selfreliance and technological advancement in manufacturing.”
Aliaksei Stratsilatau, Founder and CEO of UAVOS, commented, “VEDA Aeronautics is a key strategic partner for UAVOS, and our collaboration with them is extremely important. Their knowledge in producing advanced unmanned systems, combined with VEDA’s largescale local production capabilities, forms a strong foundation for longterm, mutually beneficial growth.”
