TEKEVER, a leading provider of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), participated in a high-level technology demonstration on September 8th, ahead of DSEI 2025.
The event convened key government officials from the Five Eyes nations, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US, highlighting growing collaboration among these allies to leverage advanced technologies from trusted partners like TEKEVER in addressing shared security challenges.
Held in London, the demonstration featured live showcases of TEKEVER’s AR3 and AR5 systems, emphasizing their operational relevance and life-saving role in some of the most complex and sensitive missions. These systems are already deployed in support of the UK’s border surveillance operations, including long-term missions over the English Channel. TEKEVER’s drones, AI-enabled sensors, and real-time data links play a central role in detecting life-threatening crossings and supporting prosecutions of people smugglers, contributing to the UK’s intelligence-led approach to defence and security.
The demonstration further underscores TEKEVER’s long-standing partnership with the UK Home Office, delivering actionable intelligence and operational support on a daily basis to strengthen sovereign defence capabilities and foster a collaborative, mission-driven defence and safety ecosystem in Europe.
Ricardo Mendes, CEO of TEKEVER, said, “We’re proud to be supporting the Home Office and showcasing the capabilities of TEKEVER’s systems to some of our closest allies. This demonstration highlights not only the technological maturity of our systems, but also the depth of collaboration between government and industry in protecting borders, saving lives, and staying ahead of evolving threats.”
This high-profile technology demonstration precedes TEKEVER’s participation in DSEI UK 2025, where the company will engage with key partners and present its latest autonomous capabilities. In parallel, TEKEVER continues to advance its £400 million OVERMATCH programme, a long-term investment aimed at accelerating AI, autonomy, and sovereign capability within the UK’s defence ecosystem. As part of this initiative, the recent acquisition of West Wales Airport is transforming the site into a state-of-the-art test and evaluation hub for next-generation unmanned systems, supporting both UK and allied operations in complex missions led by the Home Office.
In an era marked by transnational threats, complex sociopolitical challenges, and rapid technological change, TEKEVER demonstrates the agility, autonomy, and collaborative approach required to ensure collective security. By working closely with government agencies and private partners worldwide, TEKEVER is pioneering a new generation of mission-ready systems designed to detect threats earlier, respond faster, and preserve life on land and at sea.
