Anemoment LLC, developer and manufacturer of the TriSonica™ Mini 3D ultrasonic anemometer and the TriSonica™ Sphere wind flux sensor, has been acquired by LI-COR Environmental.

Anemoment specialize in compact, robust meteorological instruments for use in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV, UAS, drones) and other unmanned platforms. Delivering unmatched precision and accuracy these powerful, lightweight sensors are ideal for meteorological applications such as environmental monitoring, precision agriculture and wind profiling.

The acquisition brings new expertise, core technology, and products to LI-COR in adjacent markets, and supports the long-term growth and stability of the Anemoment products.
