Cinch Johnson SMA-to-UMC adapterCinch Connectivity Solutions has expanded its line of Johnson UMC to SMA Adapters, which support conversion between the two interfaces with both a jack-to-plug and plug-to-jack version.

Cinch’s Johnson series of UMC to SMA Adapters complement the company’s UMC product portfolio of a PCB-mounted connector and more than 75 cable assemblies, available in low profile and ultra-low-profile mating heights of 2.5mm and 2.0mm, in standard fixed lengths between 50mm and 500mm. UMC connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies are designed for applications with 50-ohm impedance requirements, operating to 6 GHz, and are compatible with the U.FL interface.

The adapters are ideal for lightweight RF applications in drones and robotics, as well as Wi-Fi and wireless internet subsystems, cellular communications and GPS and GNSS modules.
