The team behind GEO Business (20-21 May, Business Design Centre, London), the UK’s largest geospatial event, is now looking for speakers to join the line up at the 2020 show.

Geospatial experts are invited to apply to speak at the event, which typically attracts over 3,000 professionals from across the global geospatial industry. With this ready-made audience, GEO Business offers speakers the perfect opportunity to share their knowledge and raise their profile in the geospatial community. The two-day programme features 200+ free-to-attend presentations covering a variety of topics that demonstrate the impact geospatial innovation is having on our global environment.

Event director Caroline Hobden says: “We’re particularly keen to receive seminar submissions that explain and contextualise the latest geospatial trends, technologies and applications. Tracks include Building Information Modelling (BIM), earth observation & satellite applications, GIS & big data, ground penetrating radar, laser scanning & LiDAR, mobile mapping, robotics & automation, smart cities, sustainability, UAVs/ drones, visualisation, augmented reality & virtual reality, and more.

“We’re also interested in seminars targeted at key sectors such as AEC, coastal, flooding, forestry, heritage, highways, mining, railways, surveying, utilities as well as those that offer practical how-to content, real-life case studies, and fresh angles on long-term challenges faced by the industry.

“If you’re a highly knowledgeable, engaging speaker in the geospatial field then we’d love to hear from you.”

For more details about how to apply to speak at GEO Business, read the guidelines here.

Prospective speakers need to submit details of their proposed seminar via the call for speakers application form before the deadline of Wednesday 22 January.

GEO Business will take place at the Business Design Centre, London, from 20-21 May 2020. Attendees can register their interest in advance here.
