M Series Connectors in Panel

LEMO, a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection solutions will be displaying its NEW precision engineered connector series designed specifically for military and other harsh environment applications that require robust performance in a lightweight compact size. The NEW LEMO M Series Connector family, announced to the public in September of 2009, has been uniquely designed for applications that require a durable, yet reduced weight and compact solution. This new connector design is focused on the designer that requires a MIL-38999 type of connector but in a much smaller and lightweight package, giving up none of the vibration, RFI, water ingress or corrosion specifications.

LEMO is the world leader in push pull connector technology and once again brings to you a family of “Best in Class” connectors for Military, Industrial, Energy and Alternative Energy type applications and will be displaying the product at the upcoming AFCEA West 2010 Exhibition, February 2-4, 2010, in San Diego, California, Booth #1706.

Most recently the M Series went through extensive testing (EIA 364 and MIL-STD 810) by a third-party testing house in order to validate lightening strike, vibration, and other critical environmental, EMI shielding, and flammability attributes, desired in aerospace and military environments. “The results were superb and validated our confidence in the family which offers compelling advantages above and beyond our competitors to the benefit of our customers,” said Tim Hassett, Managing Director of LEMO USA. “Other exciting news is that we now have a unique position in the market due to our most recent partnership with Avnet, who we have chosen as our preferred distributor. With Avnet’s expertise in the military, aerospace, energy and industrial markets along with their design-in win successes we see a future in customer satisfaction and long-term growth.”
