UEI’s DNR-MIL-4 is a rugged I/O chassis designed around the company’s RACKtangle® architecture, engineered specifically for the operational demands of unmanned systems. The compact unit provides four modular I/O slots and employs MIL-STD-38999 connectors, delivering a durable solution that complies with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1275 standards.
Compatible with more than 90 DNR-series I/O modules, the chassis supports flexible, high-density configurations across unmanned ground, aerial, and surface platforms. While maintaining the same electrical layout as standard DNR-series systems, the DNR-MIL-4 incorporates enhanced hold-up and power protection features to address mission-critical requirements.
Processing options include SoloX ARM processors, with alternatives such as PowerPC and Zynq UltraScale CPUs also available. The enclosure is constructed from IP66-rated aluminum, with a fanless thermal design and resistance to vibration and shock (5g/100g) to ensure dependable performance in extreme and high-impact environments. Software support covers Windows, Linux, VxWorks, QNX, and additional platforms, with built-in compatibility for UEIPAC, MODBUS, SIM, and OPC-UA protocols.
