The DNx-AI-211 is a four-channel analog input board designed for direct connection to industry-standard two-wire vibration sensors such as IEPE and ICP types. Each channel uses its own 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, allowing fully simultaneous sampling at rates up to 125,000 samples per second per channel and 500,000 samples per second aggregate.
The board includes both analog and digital anti-aliasing filters, providing up to 100 dB attenuation and uniform phase response across channels. Input amplifiers support four programmable voltage ranges from ±3.125 volts to +25/–13 volts, with dynamic range sufficient to measure low-level vibration and full-scale shock within a single range. Each input is isolated from the chassis and from every other channel, ensuring electrical noise immunity and protection against sensor faults or shorts.
Bias excitation for each sensor input is software-selectable from 0 to 8 milliamps in 256 steps. Onboard monitoring detects open or shorted sensors, and per-channel LEDs provide visual status indication. Input overvoltage protection and open input detection are also included as part of the board’s Guardian Series diagnostic features.
All signal connections are made via standard 10-32 UNF coaxial connectors using the included DNA-STP-211 terminal panel. The DNx-AI-211 operates reliably in harsh environments and is tested to 5 g vibration, 50 g shock, a temperature range from –40 to +85°C, and altitudes up to 70,000 feet.
