Desert Aircraft DA-215
The Desert Aircraft DA-215 is a twin-cylinder two-stroke engine that is ideal for a variety of UAV platforms, featuring a power output of 13hp and a flight ceiling of 18,000 ft. The compact and lightweight engine utilizes barometric sensors to provide automatic altitude tuning for maximum efficiency, and also offers robust projection against fuel injection system overheating.
The engine provides full telemetry data to the flight control system, and can be integrated with a 24V or 48V starter/alternator to provide electrical power for UAV avionics as well as automatic engine starting. Wiring harnesses and connectors are MIL-DTL-83513 compliant.
