TEKEVER has signed an MOU with QinetiQ to advance uncrewed systems in the UK by combining TEKEVER’s operational platforms with QinetiQ’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) infrastructure, with early results demonstrated through AR3 radar cross-section tests.
The agreement lays the groundwork for deeper cooperation to create a UAS Centre of Excellence in the UK, combining TEKEVER’s operationally-proven AI-powered platforms, including AR3 EVO and AR5, with QinetiQ’s leading test and evaluation expertise.
Through this collaboration, TEKEVER and QinetiQ will advance the delivery of interoperable uncrewed systems in support of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and its strategic priorities. The MoU highlights the mutual intent to explore joint programmes, inform and influence customer requirements, and drive innovation across the UK defence ecosystem.
Ricardo Mendes, CEO of TEKEVER, commented, “This agreement marks an important step in strengthening the UK’s ability to test, evaluate and deploy next-generation uncrewed systems at pace. By combining TEKEVER’s proven UAS platforms with QinetiQ’s leadership in trials and experimentation, we are helping to ensure that UK defence and security customers have access to the most advanced capabilities available.”
Simon Galt, Managing Director, Air, QinetiQ, stated, “DroneWorks demonstrates our commitment to shaping the future of UAS, bringing together our unrivalled T&E expertise and supportive infrastructure to deliver breakthrough capabilities quickly and effectively to our customers. Collaborating with TEKEVER, who bring extensive experience and operational credibility in UAS, reinforces our drive in building a resilient, sovereign ecosystem for the UK and its allies.”
As the UK MoD continues to drive innovation through collaboration with agile partners under ambitious programmes, the TEKEVER-QinetiQ collaboration reflects a shared vision: to build sovereign, scalable and mission-ready systems that deliver operational excellence where it matters most.
