Discover cutting-edge solutions from 8 leading global suppliersThe Rotor Riot Brave 55A Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) has been released and added to the Blue UAS Framework by Unusual Machines, a U.S. based manufacturer of drone parts.

Two drone components have now been placed by Unusual Machines on the Blue UAS Framework, created by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
The Blue UAS Framework provides the DoD alongside other government entities with secure drone components that meet in-depth performance, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
Inclusion in the Blue UAS Framework highlights Unusual Machines’ commitment in supplying reliable sources for defense and government applications; as products listed on the framework must comply with federal requirements. This reduces risks associated with foreign-made or unverified components, as it must comply with the standards of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The Rotor Riot Brave 55A ESC is an electronic speed controller designed as a 4-in-1 that works ideally with flight controllers such as the Rotor Riot Brave F7. 32-bit processors ensure that the Brave 55A ESC efficiently sends current to Brushless DC Electric motors. High-performance drones that require high motor output for high-speed flight and acrobatics are supported by the ESC. While this product is also manufactured in the USA, meaning it is compliant with NDAA requirements and standards.
Allan Evans, CEO of Unusual Machines, commented, “This product expands the market created by the Brave F7 flight controller and furthers our commitment to producing high-quality NDAA-compliant components at competitive prices. The addition of the Brave 55A ESC further establishes us as a trusted partner for the U.S. drone industry.”
The American drone industry has continued support from Unusual Machines as they prioritize domestic and manufacturing compliance with ever evolving regulations and requirements.
