The DNx-AI-217-803 is a 16-channel simultaneously sampling A/D board that delivers 24-bit resolution and true per-channel isolation for high-accuracy data acquisition in rugged unmanned, aerospace, and industrial environments. Each channel features its own dedicated A/D converter, allowing simultaneous sampling at up to 30,000 samples per second per channel, with a maximum aggregate rate of 480,000 samples per second.
Input ranges are software-selectable with gain options of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64, and low-pass FIR filter cutoff frequencies can be configured as low as 1 hertz. Each input also includes open wiring detection and over-range protection, along with a dedicated logic-level digital I/O line. Input channels are protected to plus or minus 40 volts and enter a high impedance state when unpowered, making the board suitable for redundant or failover systems.
The DNx-AI-217-803 installs in any UEI Cube or RACKtangle chassis and connects via a female DB37 connector, compatible with standard off-the-shelf and UEI terminal accessories including the DNA-STP-37. Signal integrity is preserved by eliminating inter-channel crosstalk and settling issues, even with high impedance sources.
The board is supported across Windows, Linux, and a wide range of real-time operating systems including QNX, VxWorks, INtime, and RT Linux. UEI provides a comprehensive API for all supported platforms and full integration with LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, and other DAQ environments via the UEIDAQ Framework, ActiveX, and OPC interfaces.
