TEKEVER, a European provider of AI-centred uncrewed aerial systems, is strengthening its long-term presence in Estonia through the opening of a local office and the appointment of Tuuli Vors as Market Lead for the Baltics.
This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to working closely with Estonian defence stakeholders, local partners, and the wider Baltic defence and innovation ecosystem. The expansion coincides with TEKEVER’s participation in Spring Storm 2026, Estonia’s largest military exercise of the year, which brings together Estonian and allied forces for large-scale defensive operations in realistic conventional warfare conditions.
Tuuli Vors brings more than 15 years of experience across defence, international cooperation, and technology policy to her new role. Her appointment supports the ambition to build trusted local relationships, deepen cooperation with end users, and explore opportunities for industrial participation and collaboration in Estonia and the wider region.
As part of the military exercise, TEKEVER will support a series of demonstrations and operational engagements designed to show how its autonomous systems function in realistic scenarios. The company’s platforms have been shaped by sustained real-world deployment, including in Ukraine, where operational insights have helped refine performance in complex and fast-evolving environments. This engagement with the Estonian Defence Forces provides an opportunity to demonstrate system relevance in demanding maritime and defence contexts, focusing on operational coordination, data integration, and support for timely decision-making.
Tuuli Vors, Market Lead for the Baltics at TEKEVER, said, “Estonia understands the importance of persistent situational awareness, fast decision-making and strong interoperability across allied forces. Spring Storm provides a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how TEKEVER’s systems can support those priorities in a realistic exercise environment and in close cooperation with end users. For us, this is about long-term partnership, operational relevance and supporting Estonia’s wider defence and security priorities”.
Lieutenant Junior Grade Lauri Kummel, Head of Naval Technology, Force Transformation Command, added, “Strong cooperation with the defence industry is vital for us. We truly value the initiative and energy that companies bring to the table to help strengthen national defence. Real-life testing is the only way to be sure that new technology actually works in the hands of our soldiers. By working closely together, we can turn smart ideas into practical tools that are effective and ready for the field.”
The growing footprint and local office presence reflect a long-term intent to foster closer engagement with customers, partners, and the wider Estonian defence and innovation ecosystem, including future opportunities for local industrial participation and collaboration.
