Discover World-Leading Unmanned and Autonomous Technologies
Discover cutting-edge solutions from leading global suppliers
The 2026 edition of Asia’s leading drone exhibition, Drone Show Korea (DSK) 2026, is scheduled to open on February 25 at BEXCO in Busan, Republic of Korea.
This year marks the largest iteration of the event to date, spanning 26,508 square meters with 318 companies from 23 countries occupying 1,200 booths. The exhibition is centered on the theme “Smart Armed Forces Based on AI and Advanced Science & Technology for Manned-Unmanned Integrated Combat Systems.” To reflect this focus, the Ministry of National Defense will operate dedicated pavilions for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. These exhibits are designed to demonstrate the deployment of AI-enabled autonomous drones in real-world battlefield scenarios, ranging from maritime superiority strategies to integrated reconnaissance and strike operations.
Major industry players are set to debut significant technological advancements during the three-day event. Korean Air will present Physical AI-based autonomous flight and UAM traffic management systems. KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries) will showcase AI-enabled next-generation aerial combat systems. LIG Nex1will unveil AI-driven swarm unmanned systems and integrated solutions. Next Aerospace will debut a 25-kg-class VTOL UAV and a compact high-speed attack drone.
Additional participants include: Poongsan Corp., high-power attack drone solutions with proven reliability, Doosan Mobility Innovation next-generation hydrogen drone capable of operating over 120 minutes in −20 °C environments, along with its core power systems, Nearthlab AI-based aerial intelligence solutions for defense and industrial applications, Korea Defense Industry (KDI), next-generation tactical drones for reconnaissance to precision strike.
Other companies enhancing the exhibition include: A-LUX, introducing a fully Korean-made educational commercial drone for the first time, Pablo Air, swarm-AI aviation and defense platform developer, Vololand, Korean drone component manufacturer specializing in intelligent drone solutions.
DSK’s vision is further demonstrated through collaborative pavilions spanning related industries and policies. The AI Drone Security Pavilion will present counter-drone technologies and integrated command-and-control vehicles designed for real-world operations. The Busan Future Aviation Cluster Pavilionwill showcase next-generation aircraft research and preparations for UAM commercialization. The Space Pavilion, organized with the Korea AeroSpace Administration, will introduce technologies from around ten space startups focusing on space data centers, lunar exploration, and space food. The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and ETRI will present achievements such as stratospheric drones, OPPAV, and drone-robot delivery systems. Additional pavilions include the Geospatial Convergence Alliance, featuring 11 specialized companies in drone-based spatial information technologies, as well as the Smart Life Pavilion and Net-Zero Pavilion, highlighting technology, policy, and sustainability.
Business support programs have been significantly strengthened. A dedicated DSK web app will provide AI-based buyer matching, business messaging, and meeting scheduling tools to facilitate consultations and contract opportunities. On the second day, the exhibition will remain open for an additional hour exclusively for invited participants during a “Networking Hour,” bringing together exhibitors, buyers, and VIPs.
The conference, held on February 25–26, will bring together experts from 13 countries to examine the convergence of AI and unmanned technologies across defense, mobility, and aerospace sectors. Day 1, Feb 25, will focus on “2026 Air Mobility Trends,” covering global drone market outlooks and aviation regulatory developments by region. Global technology leaders such as IBM and Amazon Web Services (AWS) will discuss how quantum computing and agentic AI may transform mobility. The AI Defense Drone Sessionwill feature international defense experts, including Shield AI (USA), discussing AI pilot technologies and their impact on modern warfare. Day 2, Feb 26, will run in two parallel tracks covering: Drone policy and regulation, International cooperation, Global manufacturing and solutions, Drone geospatial technologies, Smart Life (UAM/AAM), NewSpace, Sustainable aviation.
Experiential content will also be significantly enhanced. The former “Drone Entertainment Zone” will be rebranded as the Drone Action Zone, focusing on real-world applications in defense, public safety, industrial inspection, education, and leisure. Visitors will be able to experience everything from basic flight training to industrial inspection simulations, providing a direct understanding of current drone technologies and their future potential.
