1. Sonar-Equipped AUVs Set for French Navy
Thales and Exail have been selected by the French defence procurement agency (DGA) to deliver eight sonar-equipped autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV), with eight more in option.Â
This extended version of the A18-M AUV will integrate the SAMDIS 600 sonar for the SLAMF program (the French Armed forces program, supervised by the DGA, which aims to renew the French Navy mine warfare capabilities with the mass use of unmanned systems.)

4. Armed USV Receives First Naval Contract
ULAQ Armed Unmanned Surface Vessel, developed by Meteksan Defense and ARES Shipyard, has reached a significant milestone by signing its first export naval contract with Qatar. The contract was signed with the Qatar’s Ministry of Interior during the Milipol Qatar Exhibition, marking Turkey’s first unmanned surface vessel export project.
ULAQ 11 PSV Port Security Vessel will be built under this contract to meet needs of the Qatar Coast Guard Command for reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence missions, and critical facility protection activities.
5. Insitu Expands Integrator UAS Capabilities with P-LEO Satellite Control for Extended Range
Insitu, based in Bingen, Washington, has integrated Proliferated-Low Earth Orbit (P-LEO) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) into its battle-tested Integrator Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS).
This advancement provides a significant boost to Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) control, allowing the Integrator to achieve a point-to-point range of up to 2,000 nautical miles with an endurance of 27.5 hours, surpassing competitors in its class.
