The Energy Drone & Robotics Summit, taking place June 12-13 in Houston, Texas at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott, has released the full event agenda, which includes 60+ sessions and will include 100+ speakers over the two days. In addition, the Energy Drone & Robotics Summit will host two workshops and a Flyability Elio 2 demo day prior to the start of the Summit & Expo, on June 10 – 11.

With content sourced from the Energy Drone & Robotics Coalition community and guidance by the industry leaders on the 38-member advisory board, this year’s agenda reflects the growing needs of energy and engineering industries in expanding unmanned systems programs in their operations. Additional sessions, speakers and space have been added to meet these emerging needs.

“Doubling in participation and size, for the third year in a row, this is again the largest and most innovative set of best practice workshops, general sessions, new focused breakout sessions, use / technical / business cases and tech updates / demos that we have ever built for the energy industry,” said Sean Guerre, Director, Energy Drone & Robotics Coalition, powered by InnovateEnergy. “With hundreds of topic submissions and the quality advice of our industry advisory board, we have built an action packed Summit that serves the rapidly growing industry needs for those scaling their energy & engineering drone & robotics programs to improve safety, security, efficiency and ROl.”

Just a few noteworthy sessions include:

  • API (American Petroleum Institute) Guide to Developing an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program: Official Release & Roll Out
  • How Energy UAV / Robotics Programs are Meeting Current and Future Industry and Regulatory Compliance
  • Fugitive Emissions / Leak Detection Panel: OGI-Optical Gas Imaging, Advanced Thermal Imaging and Lasers
  • Energy Robotics Roundtable: Autonomous Operations & Successful Enterprise Deployments – Ground, Air and Water
  • Enabling Energy Enterprises to Monitor & Digitize Critical Infrastructure Assets and Utilizing Data Analytics for Valuable Business Insights

Four breakout session streams focused on key topics in the industry are new to the Summit’s agenda:

  • UAV Operations
  • Robotics / Automation
  • Data / Analytics / AI
  • Industrial Unmanned Security & C-UAS
