The ZED-F9R is a dead reckoning positioning module for industrial ground robotics and UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles), featuring a highly reliable multi-band GNSS receiver, an integrated inertial measurement unit (IMU), and sophisticated sensor fusion capabilities. The module provides native support for u-blox' PointPerfect PPP-RTK GNSS augmentation service.
State-of-the-art algorithms fuse IMU data, GNSS measurements and corrections, wheel ticks, and vehicle dynamics models for different vehicle classes to deliver enhanced positioning accuracy that provides significant improvements over GNSS alone. The module enables operation under open sky as well as under heavy vegetation and in covered areas, and is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications such as precision agriculture and mining trucks.
The ZED-F9R comes with built-in support for RTCM or SPARTN-formatted corrections, enabling high-precision navigation using internet or satellite data.
