The Dronetag Rider device passively monitors airspace for signals from FAA, EASA, and MLIT-compliant UAVs, including models from manufacturers such as DJI, Autel, and Skydio. It provides a detection range of up to 5 km and is intended for use by public safety organizations, infrastructure security teams, and other professional operators requiring real-time situational awareness.
The device operates independently of the detected drones and transmits data to the Dronetag platform via integrated LTE, Bluetooth, or USB-C. The RIDER integrates with the Drone Scanner app (Android/iOS) to visualize UAV telemetry, including position, altitude, speed, and pilot identification when available. It supports both connected and offline operations, making it suitable for use in controlled, secure, or disconnected environments.
RIDER includes built-in visual and audible alerting systems via LED indicators and buzzer. Its compact form factor (64 g, 134 × 53 × 20 mm) allows it to be clipped to a backpack, attached to a controller, or carried in the field. With a battery life of 6–10 hours, it supports extended missions and continuous monitoring. The system also enables integration with UTM or counter-UAS frameworks for enhanced asset tracking and airspace management.
