The SM300 marine control system provides full operator-in-the-loop autonomous control and command, as well as direct remote control, for unmanned commercial vessels and workboats.
The SM300 vessel control system is ideal for a wide range of unmanned marine missions including spill response, firefighting, surveying and security patrolling.
Vessel Control System Technology
Vessels can be controlled from nearshore locations or nearby vessels, and from offsite locations with reliable network connections.
The rugged onboard intelligent control hub, powered by our unique TALOS technology, interfaces with and processes data from radar, cameras, GPS, Automatic Identification System (AIS), Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), providing automated obstacle detection and avoidance as well as powerful mission planning.
An intuitive laptop-based autonomous control system with point-and-click interface allows users to easily plan, track and record missions by simply selecting waypoints and inputting vessel parameters. The SM300 can be used to chart high-precision grid patterns or evenly-spaced sweeping trajectories for applications such as marine surveying and data acquisition. Two vessels equipped with SM300 vessel control systems can perform autonomous collaborative missions, with the ability to maintain set path, speed and distance apart.
Remote Payload Control
The SM300’s remote payload control allows operators to engage on-board fire monitors, air quality sensors, sonar systems and a variety of other payloads. The system delivers real-time data, camera and sensor feedback, providing the ability to adjust speed, course and direction as needed.
External data from sonar, radar, surface video or on-board weather stations can be easily recorded and recovered for post-mission analysis and computer-generated reporting. Sea Machines software connects seamlessly to survey data acquisition software, as well as other intelligent payload systems that allow dynamic and proactive changes to be made to pre-programmed autonomous missions.
