The SM200 marine control system enables line-of-sight remote control for commercial workboats, providing unmanned or minimally manned capabilities for a wide variety of vessels including fire boats, ferries, utility vessels and more.
Delivering increased productivity, capability and operator safety, the SM200 remote helm controls can be integrated into OEM unmanned surface vessels or easily retrofitted into existing manned boats. The system’s control hub integrates with the vessel’s engine controls, steering and transmission, as well as providing flexible sensor and payload integration for winches, pumps, sonar, ROV deployment and a variety of other subsystems.
A dynamic dual-joystick remote user interface allows remote control from the shore or a nearby vessel, at distances of up to 1km. Featuring a colour LCD screen and eleven customizable toggle switches, the remote control station allows users to monitor vessel parameters and conditions such as attitude, gear, propeller speed, battery voltage and fuel level.
