Polarity, which is building upon its 30 years of high voltage experience, is now offering high voltage up and down converters for small to medium size unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) that require an electrical tether. The tethers are designed for altitudes up to 1500 feet. The combined weight of the 1000ft tether and 3kW, 2KV down converter is 5.5lbs. Polarity offers several light weight high voltage tether systems ranging from 500W to 10KW.
