UAV Sensor Payloads for Airborne ImagingOur multispectral sensor payloads are platform-agnostic, and can be integrated into a wide range of UAV platforms for day or night-time operations, providing automated intelligence-gathering quickly and efficiently. Image data is processed and analyzed on the edge in real time, allowing immediate quality checks while the aircraft is still in the area of interest and data delivery either during flight or almost immediately after.

The sensors also solve the “soda straw” effect common in traditional video gimbal systems, which results in the user seeing only small high-resolution sections of land or water at a time. Overwatch multispectral imaging systems combine an automated scanning mode with onboard AI-powered analysis to significantly increase the size of an area that can be analyzed, at high resolution, while decreasing the time taken.

Featuring onboard edge processing and AI-powered software, the sensors reduce cognitive load on the operator and can be used to cue other networked sensors and devices.

The highly versatile multi-mission sensors are SWaP (size, weight and power)-optimized, making them suitable for a wide range of UAV platforms.

Overwatch AI is a powerful onboard software suite that delivers a wide range of automate features and functionality, including automated search and scan modes, object detection, change detection, fire and flood mapping, and much more. The sensor-agnostic software is native to our own smart sensors and can be paired with third-party payloads and FMV gimbals.

The AI-powered software features a number of mission-specific modules optimized for different applications such as land-based mapping & ISR, maritime object detection and monitoring, and fire detection and analysis.
