The 2 Slot VPX Rugged Test System is a field-deployable chassis engineered for operational reliability in unmanned and defense-grade platforms. Designed around a 3-slot backplane with one dedicated VITA 62 power supply slot, the system supports VITA 48.2 conduction-cooled VPX modules with integrated air assist to enhance thermal margin in harsh environments. The enclosure accommodates a range of custom I/O configurations using MIL-STD connectors and is built to conform to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-167, and MIL-S-901D testing criteria. Available with MIL-STD-704E and MIL-STD-1275 power options, the system integrates seamlessly into rugged mission or test environments.

Compact in profile, the system measures 5.11″ x 6.96″ x 12.88″ without expansion and extends to 16.58″ with an optional module, delivering test and deployment versatility in constrained platforms. Its lightweight form factor, just 14.5 lbs excluding payload, simplifies integration into mobile or airborne unmanned systems. Designed for use with a single-slot VITA 62 compliant PSU, this rugged chassis provides the foundation for rapid prototyping, subsystem validation, or deployed VPX-based computing in operationally challenging conditions.
